Have you fished the upper Ahuriri River above Longslip Creek this season? If the answer is “yes” Central South Island Fish & Game would like to hear about your angling experience.

The Ahuriri Rivers reputation is such that it was listed as one of the top ten fly fishing destinations in the world by New World Wealth in 2016. Given its popularity as an angling destination CSI Fish & Game want to make sure the Ahuriri River angling experience that built this reputation is maintained.

CENTRAL SOUTH ISLAND WEEKLY FISHING REPORT - 7 OCTOBER 2016

As far as I can tell opening weekend was a cracker in the CSI Region with plenty of anglers cashing in on the fact the 1st of October fell on a Saturday for 2016.
